Since 1948 this rustic restaurant with its neon script sign along Interstate 70 has been a Colorado dining landmark. The log cabin-like interior is lined with huge picture windows, furnishing stunning views of the Continental Divide. Prime rib is the reigning superstar of the menu. In addition the menu offers other items like buffalo meatloaf (USD14), elk medallions (USD22), trout and swordfish to name a few. The wine list is both diverse and high-end. Old Hole Sports Grill Drink Cheap, Eat Cheaper

An old hole with a new name, this sports grill was part of a local chain called Jackson's Hole until 1999. New owners raised the bar, so to speak. Since then, it has earned a reputation as one of the city's top places to go for sports with its numerous televisions and its pool and dart spots. Happy Hour is Monday through Friday from 4 to 6:30pm, with a free buffet thrown in on Fridays.
