When your taste buds cry out for Schnitzel, head over to this quaint uptown bistro for seven different varieties, and the purest dark beer this side of the Spree. The small storefront café is barely big enough for the whole family, yet the interior is home-like and quaint. If you want Schnitzel, Café Berlin has all kinds: Zigeuner, Paprika, Jager and good old Weiner. You will also find other meaty offerings ranging from pork to duck. Vegetarians will find solace in the Mushroom Cutlets.

The menu has an interesting mix of local American and European fare. Some of the specialties of the house include Chinook Classic Jeeger Schnitzel, Multi Spiced Pork Tenderloin, Grilled New York Strip and Brathehnchen (oven roasted chicken served with tender green beans). Don't forget to sample the Alaskan Salmon, which is another favorite. Special events are held from time to time with special menus designed for the same. Lovers of art are in for a surprise as the Sophia Georg Gallery is situated on the premises, so you can browse through some interesting art while your food gets ready. Look no further for a wonderful time with the family, as it's all here –entertainment and good food.

Other ethnic dishes brimming with flavor derive from Austria, Czech Republic and Poland. Accordingly, the restaurant displays central and eastern European décor making one feel as if they are dining in a NATO-inspired restaurant. Portions are pleasing in both quality and quantity, sometimes leaving little room to try one of the authentic desserts.
