This treat-gem's gelatos and sorbets come in a dizzying range of flavors, although the tart citrus flavors are always the best. You can get a variety of chocolates, often hazelnut, banana, and coffee, and the flavors change daily. Pints and quarts are available for take home orders. The dining room is small and features a few tables, and a colorful fresco gives the place a true Italian touch. Outdoor seating is available.

Started by a couple of Brooklyn transplants looking for the flavors of home, this deli comes with a heavy dose of New York flavor and a bit of New York attitude. Start with the Brooklyn Breakfast Sandwich, piled with cheese, eggs and a choice of meat. The deli also has 31 sandwiches, including meatloaf, and in true New York fashion sells Sabrett Hot Dogs. There are also an array of desserts, and a full selection of coffee and espresso drinks.

It offers nearly 15 homemade flavors and different creations are available everyday. The guys know how to mix up the standards, and their exotic experiments are always worth a try. The Coffee Crunch and Citrus Bliss are, well, crunchy and blissful. You can get a cup of coffee to go with your ice cream; it helps fend off "brain freezes".

+1 303 837 1366 Established in 1951 as a soda fountain and pharmacy, this area landmark is straight out of a Norman Rockwell painting. The soda fountain offers sweet, hand-dipped chocolate milkshakes and serves the extras in the steel mixer. Over 100 microbrews are available for carryout, and an extensive wine department offers wines from around the world. The alcohol selection may seem unusual in this environment, and it is: this shop was "grandfathered in" (allowed to continue established business practices) after Colorado passed a law against selling liquor and groceries in the same place.
