Steak Out! |
2500 East 1st Avenue Unit 101 Denver, CO 80206 United States +1 303 399 5353 http://www.elways.com/ |
Two friends, John Elway and Tim Schmidt came together to create this restaurant. They put together a menu that's always evolving, and a wine list with prices that won't burn a hole in your pocket. The restaurant boasts of serving the freshest food and there is a lot on offer to tickle your palate. The Duck Tacos, Shrimp Cocktail, Lamb Fondue, and Cured Meat Board are a must from the range of starters. From the main course, go for the Crab Fried Rice, Prime Rib, Hawaiian Sun Fish, and Steak Loaf. The wine list is extensive, with wines from Australia, Argentina, Spain, and California waiting to accompany you on your gourmet journey. Review © 2007, Wcities |

First rate cuisine |

The Jerusalem Restaurant rates as one of Denver's best choices for Middle Eastern cuisine, a fact evidenced by long waits for a table. Its menu, however, which offers tasty Pita Rollups stuffed with lamb or chicken, Babaghanouj and Falafel Patties, is well worth the wait. The restaurant tends to be crowded (especially with college kids after the bars close) and smoky but the outdoor patio is unbeatable on warm days. Vegetarian choices abound. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Casual food and atmosphere |
1066 South Gaylord Street (at Mississippi) Denver, CO 80209 United States +1 303 777 0194 |
Authentic, casual, and fun all aptly describe this restaurant and cantina. With its big front deck and relaxed interior, one gets the sense of being in Cancun rather than in a residential neighborhood. Its menu is best known for the homemade green chile, but also offers enchilada plates, fajitas and stuffed Sopapillas. The daily late night happy hour and late night kitchen make it popular with those who like to taunt the sunrise. Review © 2007, Wcities |
