This tiny spot packs a power punch of tasty Thai standards. It is always crowded, so come prepared to wait, knowing that the food and friendly atmosphere will make it all worthwhile. The satay appetizers are a great start and come cooked to sizzling perfection at your table. The curries are always delicious and you can specify your level of spicy tolerance. The Pad Thai stands its ground with any available in the metro area. Beer and wine are available with meals.

http://www.noodles.com Noodles is not the best sit down restaurant in the Cherry Creek area (although there are quite a few tables and chairs), but it is great for a quick fix. If you show up during the week for lunch, be prepared to wait. It is a popular stop for the business crowd. Macaroni and cheese, and all manner of noodle options and sauces are offered, as are Asian salads and Thai pastas. Be sure to check out the Indonesian, Vietnamese and Mediterranean creations. Located in a converted car repair shop, the brick interior and dark wooden tables exude the atmosphere of a Cambridge coffee shop. All orders are taken at the counter, creating a fast-food atmosphere in a non-fast-food setting. Entrees include Thai mainstays like stir-fried vegetables in assorted curry sauces, drunken noodles, and Panang. The kitchen attempts to accommodate most vegetarian requests. Pad Thai and other traditional favorites fill the menu. If you are looking to further cultivate your Thai tastes try the lemon grass chicken (said to have healing qualities) or the fresh green papaya salad. The best part of the meal is when the sticky rice arrives; ball it up use it to sponge up other portions of food (from your plate, not others).

The tables are cramped together and the place is loud with conversation. But if you are looking for a lively ambiance, then this is a good place to dine. The spicy food crowd will enjoy the Phad Prig Khing, a tasty mix of chicken and green beans doused in red chili sauce. Traditionalists will find a wealth of noodle dishes including the ever-popular Phad Thai.

They also take catering orders, so make those birthdays, business dinners, parties, etc. more special. High on fun, low on rates, Wok Uptown certainly knows how to entice.
