The mall is a mile-long, tree-lined promenade stretching through the heart of downtown. Bustling with street vendors, souvenir shops, clothing and jewelry stores, and a plethora of bars and restaurants, this energetic strip offers plenty of variety. The Denver Pavilions, at the entrance of the mall, is a new open air-shopping plaza filled with trendy chains, including the Denver edition of the Hard Rock Café. The D & F Tower, a 325-foot replica of St. Mark's campanile in Venice, graces the center of the mall. The Tabor Center adds to the shopping enthusiasm. Free shuttles provide transportation up and down the mall, allowing for convenient cross-town sightseeing. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Shopper's paradise |
5050 Factory Shop Boulevard Denver, CO 80108 United States +1 800 245 8351 http://www.outletsonline.com/ |
Strange as it may seem, the factory outlet shopping plaza in Castle Rock is one of Denver's most popular attractions. Maybe it is the scenic 30-minute drive to the quaint town of Castle Rock that draws shoppers to the 135 bargain stores. Its outdoor, lodge-like design blends nicely with the surroundings. Wander around such popular stores as Eddie Bauer, Nike and The Gap. Smaller shops include Woolrich and Bass. A food court resides at the center of the complex. Review © 2007, Wcities |

The Denver Pavilions, located downtown at the south end of the 16th Street Mall, is Denver's latest upscale shopping plaza and entertainment center, stocked with popular chains. Contemporary culture meets history |
1400 Larimer Street Denver, CO 80202 United States +1 303 534 2367 http://www.larimersquare.com/ |
Nestled in historical lower downtown Denver, Larimer Square occupies a one-block strip of the city's oldest street, dating back to the 1860s. Lined with Victorian brownstones, the area is now a thriving shopping and entertainment district, flowing with activity. Spend the morning combing the ever-changing boutiques and clothing stores; then head over to Tamayo for lunch. For the afternoon, take a self-guided walking tour of the historical district (brochures are located at the information gazebo). In the evening, dine at the Little Russian Café, Josephina's, or the Del Mar Crab House. Then, dance until the wee hours at Lucky Star. Review © 2007, Wcities |

A retail resort |
8401 Park Meadows Center Drive Denver, CO 80124 United States +1 303 792 2533 http://www.parkmeadows.com |
Officially billed as the Park Meadows Retail Resort, this mall's name reflects its attempt to replicate an alpine resort environment. The mall security officers resemble park rangers. Rock formations rise in rest areas, and the pine interior reminds shoppers more of a ski lodge than a suburban shopping mall. Nordstrom's, Dillard's and Lord & Taylor anchor the mall's other gift stores and boutiques. It is easily located directly off of I-25. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Entertainment center |
1201 16th St (at Lawrence) Denver, CO 80202 United States +1 303 572 6865 http://www.taborcenter.com/ |
The Tabor Center, located on the 16th Street Mall, is a two-block, glass structure housing a small shopping galleria and the Westin Hotel. An expansion and renovation to the Center has added the mammoth ESPN Fun Zone. The complex sports a variety of ever-changing specialty stores peddling fashion, accessories, cards, gifts, toys and games. The food court is a happening lunch destination, but for something more upscale try the popular Cheesecake Factory, or the stylish Palm. Review © 2007, Wcities |
