Organized by the Dublin Corporation Arts Office, the Dublin Writers Festival hosts a wide variety of literary related events around the city each year in mid-June. The festival seeks to celebrate the wealth and diversity of Irish writing, and provides a platform for new and established authors. The atmosphere of the Festival is relaxed and friendly. All events take place within walking distance of each other in the center of the city. If literary Dublin interests you, this festival could be the highlight of your visit.
