In the lively neighborhood of San Niccolò, within a few minutes walk from Ponte Vecchio, this tiny bar is packed with mostly young people in their 20's and 30's chatting, drinking and listening to the music from late afternoon till night. On weekends the place is so busy that, especially in summer evenings, the crowd spills out onto the outdoor seats and the sidewalk. A sumptuous buffet-style aperitif with a large choice of appetizers and a wide range of cocktails and long drinks is served every day from 7p. It is a café where, besides the usual coffee and cappuccino, you'll find plenty of home made pastries and ice cream plus takeaway cakes, and semifreddi such as zuccotto, Tiramisù, chocolate mousse and bavarese. You can sit at the café tables under the trees or enjoy your gelato while gazing at the rolling green Tuscan countryside just a few steps away. http://www.robiglio.it/ Established in the 1920s and still belonging to the same family, Robiglio counts now five coffee shops in town but the main one and the laboratory are still on Via dei Servi. They serve morning coffee, lunch and tea. In summer you can sit outdoor with a view of the Brunelleschi dome. Their daily production includes cakes and biscuits, cream puffs and pralines in addition to over 60 kinds of pastries, starring the traditional milk cookies and the fruitcake Torta Campagnola filled with fruit candies, pine nuts and raisins. Their cappuccino is very good as well. Have a quick look at the beautiful Piazza Santissima Annunziata too: the coffee shop is just off the square!
