This is a small Egyptian bakery which has now become a classic spot in the city. Managed by the man who gave this shop its name, it offers visitors the opportunity to taste Arab bread, pitta, stuffed with vegetables, falafel or lamb meat, shwarma, as well as spicy sauces, of sesame or yogurt. They also sell other Mediterranean specialties such as Greek salad, and sweets such as baklava, which has almonds, pistachio and honey. Customers eat standing up inside. Review © 2007, Wcities |
