This is thanks to the quality and particular care taken in cooking and presenting the dishes served. To start, try the Oyster Shot: a Bloody Mary with an oyster inside. For the first course there is an assortment of shellfish, crustacea or Stefano's Big Platter: a smoking frying pan of seafood. There is also the possibility of ordering Japanese style raw fish. The wine cellar is very strong on regional wines.

However, this restaurant, run by a Florentine with a passion for Spain, offers an excellent choice of Iberian cuisine. There's also flamenco dancing and live music. Begin with stuffed tapas and move onto criadilla madrileña (bull's testicles) or Valencian paella, which is the house speciality. Fish or different meats are cooked in a huge iron pan in front of the customers. Both the Iberian wines and the local ones are good.The interior design is very Spanish, with old fashioned wooden fittings, bright colors, candlelight and Spanish music in the background. In summer one can eat on a pleasant terrace which looks out over the Boboli Gardens.
