This excellent, traditional gelateria can be found behind the Piazza della Signoria where ice cream flavored with fruits which are in season can be enjoyed and semifreddi. The flavors are always changing and there is a lot of originality, including yogurt and soy gelato. Review © 2007, Wcities

Pizzeria Firenze Nuova Florentine pizzeria

The restaurant is run by natives of Campania which afford it an important role in the world of Florentine pizzas. They make use of traditional regional products such as fresh Mozzarella from Battipaglia. The D.O.C. pizza is one of the best, made with mozzarella and fresh tomatoes.
