Carnival, the world's largest cruise line, offers "Fun Ship" cruises all around the world in 21 luxurious ships. In Fort Lauderdale, the Carnival Liberty, a 11,000 ton Conquest-class vessel, departs from Port Everglades for several exotic destinations. The interior design of this ship is inspired by art deco, the cabins are comfortable, and the public areas are quite spacious. Bars and swimming pools abound in this cruise liner. There is a pizzeria on board too. The highlight of Carnival Liberty, however, is the theater, with a LED screen measuring 12 feet by 22 feet, and a 70,000 watt sound system—it virtually steals the show while keeping you entertained!

A comfortable craft, this vessel is air-conditioned but has plenty of deck space for those who want to stroll around in the fresh air. A cruise aboard this sleek, elongated cruiser includes a tour around a part of town called Millionaire's Row, past massive yachts docked outside elaborate homes, and the region's busy port, jammed with huge cruise ships and Navy yachts. Food and beverages are offered from a full bar. Adults pay $14.95; children under 12 pay $8.95.

Sea Experience ferries its patrons out into South Florida's tropical waters where they can marvel at the natural marine wonders with the aid of a snorkel, or, thanks to the very latest in glass-bottom-boat technology, without a snorkel. The journey out to sea takes riders through the Intercoastal Waterway and past a bevy of multi-million-dollar homes. The ultimate destination is often Fort Lauderdale's Twin Ledges, an epic snorkeling spot populated by the most exotic of marine life. See website for departure details, package deals and more.
