This Arlington tradition is owned and operated by the former manager of the Texas Rangers baseball team. Sports fans can never get enough of the memorabilia, which covers the walls, tables and every other area you can imagine. Entrees include a catfish filet, the Tex-Mex Bobby Bajita fajita plate, the tortilla-rolled club Mex sandwich, the blackened chicken, the buffalo shrimp and the tender filet mignon. This upscale version of an urban honky-tonk delights locals and visitors alike. Its huge dance floor easily accommodates partners, and there is never a problem getting a good view of the show on stage. Live music is presented every Wednesday-Sunday; Toby Keith, Merle Haggard, David Kersh and Terri Clark have performed here. Wednesday is ladies night, while Fridays feature a happy hour with free buffet from 6p-8p. The buffet consists mainly of bar fare; burgers, fries, sandwiches, chicken and barbecue are the mainstays.
