Bellagio Italian Bistro

Superb Italian bistro
3516 Blue Bonnet Circle
Fort Worth, TX 76109
United States
+1 817 921 3242
Located in central Fort Worth, not far from Texas Christian University, this lovely bistro feels like a neighborhood spot but draws people from all over the metroplex. The intimate ambiance has subdued lighting and a warm wood-and-stucco interior. The names of repeat customers are even etched on small gold plaques and placed above their preferred tables.Steamed mussels and delicately grilled calamari serve as excellent starters. Specialty entrees include the pollo rossini (a delicate boneless chicken breast with spinach, goat cheese, golden raisins and pine nuts) and the filetto balsamico (tender beef tenderloin and caramelized red onions with wine sauce). Decadent desserts include tiramisu with shaved chocolate and vanilla sauce, and the apricot bonet with amaretto sauce and whipped cream. Beer and wine are also available.

La Bistro

Wonderful out-of-the-way Italian bistro
722 Grapevine Highway
(at Norwood Street)
Fort Worth, TX 76054
United States

This wonderful Italian bistro, set in out of the way location on Highway 26, is a great find. The lighting is low and romantic, and the table settings are elegant white with pretty, clear glassware. Decorations at the La Bistro include Italian countryside-influenced pictures. All entrees include spaghetti, soup or salad. House specialties include the filet mignon Madeira with mushrooms and wine sauce, and veal in a brandy sauce with shallots and cream. A wide variety of wines is available by the bottle, including Dom Perignon, along with a full bar. The dessert menu offers excellent tiramisu.

Lucille's Stateside Bistro

Delightful bistro serves seafood, beef and chicken
4700 Camp Bowie Boulevard
Fort Worth, TX 76107
United States
A colorful mural on the outside walls of this charming little eatery announces the cuisine to all who pass by: chicken, seafood and beef. Once inside, patrons are greeted by yet another mural, this one commemorating the history of Fort Worth, including the Historic Stockyards. Seasonal specials are listed on a chalkboard; the annual "Lobsterama" in September features delicious whole lobsters at unbelievable prices. The menu at Lucille's Stateside Bistro includes different kinds of grilled fish and chicken as well as a good variety of steaks and hamburgers. Calorie-conscious diners may take note of the starred entries on the menu, which specify low-fat options.

Parthenon

Flavorful Greek food with an authentic flair
401 North Henderson Street
Fort Worth, TX 76102
United States
+1 817 810 0800
The Parthenon Greek Restsaurant opened its doors in 1997. Operated by Peter and Gus Katzianis, both originally from Cyprus, this eatery is in accordance with the authenticity and vibrant flair of its name. The surroundings are authentically Greek, complete with native music. Lunch specialties include baked moussaka and pastitsio, both of which are lasagna-like dishes. Dinner portions and choices expand. The most delectable feature is savory hummus and lamb chops. Additional selections include the lamb and the skewers of beef and pork, which are grilled and then topped with a cinnamon-tomato sauce.
