2221 East Lamar Boulevard
(Brookhollow II Building, Suite 910)
Fort Worth, TX 76006
United States

Conde Nast Traveler and Gourmet magazines have recognized Cacharel Restaurant, and the Dallas Morning News and Zagat's have hailed it as a four-star restaurant. This is because the "new French cuisine" here is exquisite. A wide range of entrees, including fish, lamb, quail, duck and chicken, are available on the fixed price menu. Individually priced entrees are also available, including the grilled ostrich omelet, the smoked salmon quesadilla and the lemon-pepper farfalle. To complete your meal, try chef Hans Bergmann's signature dessert, a paper-thin phyllo dough filled with white chocolate mousse and covered with fresh raspberries and sauce. The restaurant's country French-style wood and glass doors, along with the wood flooring and wall trim, add to the romantic ambiance.

This great steakhouse offers Texas favorites in the heart of Cowtown. The interior of Saltgrass Steak House has longhorn steer and deer heads perched on the walls, as well as Texas signs and other memorabilia. The perimeter of the restaurant is against a small lake, so there is ample opportunity to watch the water and maybe catch a glimpse of a duck while you are dining. The menu concentrates on beef—the thick and juicy cognac pepper Angus steak is mouthwatering. You also have choices of wonderful dishes like the plump grilled chicken breast and the grilled chicken pasta salad. The wine list here is well rounded, a perfect compliment to your meal.
