Cacharel

Luxurious penthouse restaurant with panoramic view
2221 East Lamar Boulevard
(Brookhollow II Building, Suite 910)
Fort Worth, TX 76006
United States
+1 817 640 9981
Conde Nast Traveler and Gourmet magazines have recognized Cacharel Restaurant, and the Dallas Morning News and Zagat's have hailed it as a four-star restaurant. This is because the "new French cuisine" here is exquisite. A wide range of entrees, including fish, lamb, quail, duck and chicken, are available on the fixed price menu. Individually priced entrees are also available, including the grilled ostrich omelet, the smoked salmon quesadilla and the lemon-pepper farfalle. To complete your meal, try chef Hans Bergmann's signature dessert, a paper-thin phyllo dough filled with white chocolate mousse and covered with fresh raspberries and sauce. The restaurant's country French-style wood and glass doors, along with the wood flooring and wall trim, add to the romantic ambiance.

Cafe Ashton

Upscale French-American restaurant
610 Main Street
Fort Worth, TX 76102

This restaurant is part of the Ashton Hotel near downtown, which opened in the renovated Fort Worth Club. The interior is small and cozy, and the walls gleam with paintings designed for the Fort Worth Club in the 1960s. The chef of Cafe Ashton, Diarmuid Murphy, strives to reach perfection with his upscale French-American cuisine. The menu has something interesting to suit all tastes, and features variations on favorite entrees such as beef tenderloin. Other selections add a new flavour to pork, sea bass and bisque.

Marsala Restaurant

Upscale restaurant in North Arlington

Fort Worth, TX 76050
United States

Located in the center of north Arlington's hotel district, this upscale French and Italian restaurant serves authentic cuisine. You would not know it from the exterior, but the interior is very formal, with white linen tablecloths and rich mahogany wood throughout. The menu centers on French and Italian fare, including fresh seafood, veal, poultry, beef and wild game. Excellent pasta dishes also abound. Begin your meal with a cup of soup and order a glass of wine from the extensive wine list. Enjoy the music of a classical guitarist Wednesday through Saturday evenings.

The food at this upscale, globally influenced restaurant is not only delicious, but also artistically displayed on the plates. Fine white china and stemmed glassware adorn the white tablecloth tables. To keep every visit here fresh, the menu at The Pegasus changes with seasonally. For a delicious entree, try the pepper coriander seed-crusted tuna, wild duck breast, the rack of lamb or the delightful porcini mushroom ravioli. The well-selected wine list offers choices by the bottle and the glass.

Saint Emilion

Authentic French fare
3617 West Seventh St
Fort Worth, TX 76107
United States
+1 817 737 2781
This quaint cottage-style restaurant transports you to the French countryside, while you bask in aroma of authentic French cuisine. The romantic ambiance is perfect for couples, but plan plenty of time because the four-course meal come in traditional French fashion: without haste. Start your meal with Grilled Portobello and caramelized onions on a bed of spinach. Then choose from a variety of entrees, such as Rabbit Tenderloin, Fillet of Sole, or Grilled John Dory. Dessert is inescapable here. Try the warm Chocolate Cake or Poached Pear with sweet mascarpone cheese.
