Bistro Louise

Gourmet Mediterranean and New American food
2900 South Hulen Street
(Stonegate Commons, Suite 40)
Fort Worth, TX 76109
United States
+1 817 922 9244
Open since 1996, Bistro Louise has been recognized by Wine & Spirits magazine and has featured as the Best Mediterranean Restaurant' in Tarrant County in the 1998 Zagat survey. The bistro's colorful and cheerful interior, complete with Mediterranean art adorning the walls, provides a quaint ambiance and an outdoor patio features red-hued stucco walls. In terms of food, salads are made from only the best seasonal fruits and vegetables. Fresh seafood favorites include crab cakes, succulent Chilean sea bass with Mediterranean lobster sauce, and potato-crusted salmon with balsamic onions. Beef lovers should try the luscious Portobello tenderloin or the free-range Argentinean beef. The desserts are delicious as well; try the cool and delightful Kiwi sorbet or the California plum and Parker County peach pie.

Scampi's

Fine Italian food in the medical district
206 West Aries
South Padre Island
Fort Worth, TX 76104
United States
+1 956 761 1755
http://www.scampisspi.com/
Scampi's looks like a little sidewalk café on the outside, with a couple of white iron tables and chairs gracing the entrance. A black-and-white checkered tablecloth and cloth napkins flesh out the special, romantic ambiance as Italian music plays in the background. A group of 8-10 entrees are available for lunch, along with about twice as many at dinner. The house specialty, spaghetti, is served both by itself and as a side dish with the lasagna, the cannelloni, the linguine or one of the many other entrees. If you have room, try one of the heavenly desserts such as tiramisu or creamy custard. Finally, you may bring your own bottle of wine.
