Reata

Texas to a "T"
310, Houston St
Fort Worth, TX 76102
United States
+1 817 336 1009
http://www.reata.net/
If you ever though that the words sophisticated and cowboy just don't sound right in the same sentence, think again. The Reata serves up some of the tastiest down home Southwest fare in Texas accompanied with a friendly and refined atmosphere. The allure of the old Reata still exists despite the fact the original location no longer does. Inside, the Library Bar is decorated with salvaged copper trim from the tornado ravaged Bank One building where the Reata was previously housed, and the dining room is made to resemble the "old" 35-story view. So sit back, relax and reminisce as you dig in to a slab of ribs.

One thing there is no shortage of in Texas is steakhouses, and if you are looking to sample the local cuisine (i.e. cow), you will not have to look around too long. This popular west side meat lovers haven lives up to the steakhouse image (dark and filled with a forest of wood) and is the perfect place to take a gaggle of clients. But, you will find more than just good steak here. Other offerings include quail, as well as catfish, shrimp and fried chicken. Of course, the steaks are good, too. Try the T-Bone, top sirloin, rib-eye, and New York strip for fork-tender, mouth-watering cuts of meat. Entrees are complete with salad bar, and your choice of french fries or a baked potato.

Trail Dust Steakhouse

Texas-style cuisine, live music and dancing
2300 East Lamar Boulevard
(at Highway 360)
Fort Worth, TX 76006
United States
+1 817 640 6411

Trail Dust Steakhouse offers a true Texas dining experience with live country music in a building that resembles a large country barn. Long wooden tables, complete with red-checkered tablecloths, bring everyone together in a family style. The dress code is "anything" except neckties. The chefs cook up large, juicy steaks over a mesquite wood fire. For a melt-in-your-mouth cut of beef, try the tenderfoot tenderloin, the stud porterhouse or the bull shipper(a 50-ounce porterhouse). Other entrees include baby back ribs, fried catfish, and mesquite-broiled chicken breasts. The desserts are excellent, so save room for the delicious chocolate fudge cake or the hot apple cobbler.
