The hall, which encompasses a variety of facilities including the Spiegelpalast (Mirror Palace)hosts a wide variety of events including ballet productions, rock & pop concerts and anything which requires a large arena. Seven conference rooms of different sizes make the ideal locations for seminars, workshops, conferences or business meetings. The restaurant and bar can seat up to 3,000 guests. Cultural centre |
Waldschmidtstraße 4 Frankfurt, HES 60316 Germany +49 69 4058 9520 http://www.mousonturm.de |
This tall brick tower was once a part of a large factory which produced Mouson soap. In 1988, the buildings were transformed into a cultural center consisting of a main stage and auditorium, as well as two smaller stages and a rehearsal room for musicians. There are also four art studios, a fully equipped sound studio, a theater workshop and a restaurant. The program is equally varied, featuring national and international dance acts, cabarets, theater ensembles and musicians. One of the few successful examples of transforming an industrial plant into an entertainment complex, this place is definitely worth a visit. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Night of the clubs |
Katharinenkirche Frankfurt, HES Germany +49 69 155 2000 http://www.nacht-der-clubs.de |
Once a year clubbers can hit Frankfurt's clubs without having to worry about nasty doormen and extortionate entrance fees. A ticket to the Nacht der Clubs (Night of the Clubs) entitles visitors to admission at about 30 of Frankfurts top nightclubs. Free shuttle buses run regularly between all the clubs, meaning that party-goers are free to leave their car at home and drink the bar dry. Some 30,000 visitors a year take advantage of this special offer, which is no surprise bearing in mind the variety of participating clubs, which range from techno palaces to jazz cellars, from opulent ballrooms to dingy heavy metal dives. Ticket-holders are entitled to reduced admission to the Musikmesse trade fair which takes place over the same weekend. Review © 2007, Wcities |
