This enormous building is located close to the main train station. Opened in 1963 and completely refurbished in 1987, the Intercontinental is a business and conference hotel which belongs firmly in the luxury category. The exterior is not particularly attractive, but the 466 rooms and suites are exquisite. Check out the bathrooms made of black granite and golden marble!
