An American sports bar with 30 TVs and three giant screens, O'Learys attracts the true sports fans, offering also a typical American menu. The chain has branches in many Swedish towns but the one in Gothenburg was the first. The two-storey restaurant has several bars and even though the main attractions here are beer and sports, it is possible to have a really good meal. The large selection goes from Chicken Thai to chicken wings, covering everything in between. The décor is typical, with plenty of pictures, sports paraphernalia and red-and-white chequered tablecloths. Stars 'n' Bars is situated near Järntorget. Most people come to the restaurant to watch sports, or perhaps to enjoy the games corner. But a business lunch is served every weekday, and the menu on the whole is very American. Burgers, poppers, buffalo wings and tacos are some of the dishes on offer. In the evenings, there is a DJ on the second floor, and occasionally a band will play live music for the dinner guests. This American restaurant is owned by a man named English — who is from Ireland.
