Small place with a large menu |
Karl Johansgatan 58 Gothenburg 41455 Sweden +46 31 42 2530 http://www.restbryggan.com |
Bryggan is in Majorna and caters mainly to the local residents. Yet it is a cosy little place, with many different dishes to choose from. There is some vegetarian food, and even a few meat and fish dishes. Most of the menu is made up of pizzas and pasta dishes. There are also a few kebab plates, as well as salads and desserts. The restaurant is small, dominated by a large mural of the ocean. Bryggan means The Jetty. The nearest tram stop is Chapmans torg, where lines 3 and 9 stop. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Cosy Greek restaurant with very low prices |
Olivedalsgatan 17 Gothenburg 413 10 Sweden +46 31 12 8805 |
Den Lilla Tavernan lives up to its name of "Little Tavern". This tiny restaurant positively exudes Greek tradition and camaraderie. But then it is hard to refrain from speaking to the person at the next table when you have to sit in their lap in order to reach your seat. The menu offers a wide range of typical Greek dishes. It is all very inexpensive and tasty but be prepared to wait. Lilla Tavernan is a very popular restaurant, and it can take a while to get served. It is also not possible to reserve tables in advance, the system here is first come, first serve. There is, however, a small bar in the entrance area where you can enjoy ouzo or a glass of wine while you wait to be seated. There is also a separate non-smoking area. The guests are entertained with live bouzouki music while they eat. Review © 2007, Wcities |
