This is something as unbelievable as a Dutch neighbourhood restaurant, located in between Ullevi and the train station. It offers traditional Dutch cuisine, deep-fried dishes, some smaller courses and pancakes in a genuinely friendly Dutch atmosphere. The actual restaurant is quite simple, the walls are cluttered with Dutch curiosities. The location of the restaurant is fairly central, near Nordstan with its shopping and just a stone's throw from Ullevi, the arena where many events take place. The nearest tram stop is Centralstationen, for lines 1, 3, 6, 7, 8 and 9.

http://home.swipnet.se/restaur... Bali looks like a typical Chinese restaurant, but is one up on the others: it also offers Indonesian food. Both large and small groups are easily seated in the restaurant's different rooms, and the menu has a wide range of dishes. Besides the (for Sweden) usual "three small dishes" there are many other Chinese and Indonesian meals to choose from. The terrace is popular in the summer as many students enjoy eating lunch here. Also, the beer is cheaper here than at many of the other places around Vasaplatsen.

+46 31 24 6020 Mr Rice serves Southeast Asian food all mixed together—Malaysian, Indonesian and Vietnamese. At lunchtime, the guests choose whether they want rice or noodles—or both —with their special. The same thing goes for the evening menu, but then there are more dishes to choose from. Mr Rice is not very far from Järntorget, and it is as a lunch restaurant that it is most popular. But the evening menu is interesting and offers a variety of dishes hard to find at a regular Chinese or Indonesian restaurant. The décor is odd, but interesting.
