Lilla Tokyo (Little Tokyo) is definitely little; a small sushi restaurant that also offers regular Japanese food, cappuccino, espresso and pieces of Valhrona chocolate. Choose between the chef's sushi platters or compose your own. The other savoury dishes come for very low prices and are served together with rice and salad. Every weekday between 11a and 3p you can choose between one regular dish and one sushi platter for lunch. This daily special includes soup, a beverage and coffee or tea. The nearest tram stop is Linnéplatsen, for lines 1 and 2, but it is not a long walk from Järntorget, where lines 1, 3, 4 and 9 stop.

Japanese food should be enjoyed by the eyes as well as the stomach. That is what guests are told when they come to Mikado. There are several set menus to choose from, a special sushi platter and an à la carte menu. There are many variations. And apart from Japanese food, there is also Japanese beer and saké. The restaurant is right in the centre of town, just off Avenyn.

+46 31 711 5960 The Sushi & Soda chain has four branches in Gothenburg. The idea here is to be able to deliver set sushi dishes quickly to hungry customers. Mostly it is used for take-away, but a few seats are available. The restaurant itself is pleasant and clean, designed in a Japanese style with light décor. Sushi & Soda also sports a display case with the fresh ingredients, as do all the other sushi restaurants in Gothenburg. There are three menus to choose from, the smallest being called San, the medium one Samurai and the largest one (15 pieces of sushi), Sumo. The three other Sushi & Sodas in Gothenburg share this one's menus and opening hours. Their addresses are Kristinelundsgatan 3, Drottninggatan 61 and Linnégatan 53. The nearest tram stop to this branch is Brunnsparken (all tram lines).
