Located near the harbour, Amphore is an idyllic spot in the middle of the city, offering spectacular views of the River Elbe and the shipyards. The place attracts a mix of trendy young regulars, often clad in expensive clothes, Ray Bans and carrying mobile phones. But plenty of other people pop by during the day for a cup of coffee, a quick read through the daily papers and to enjoy the view. A flight of stairs leads down to the Golden Pudel Club.
