The Bistro is a pub for well off gays. A lot of people find their way to this side street off the Lange Reihe. The room is designed with straight lines and smooth surfaces, plain colours and shiny black, and lies some steps below street level on a street corner. The atmosphere is always quite animated. Seats are available at the bar, tables and also at some ordinary tables with comfortable leather benches. In line with the furniture, the waiters' uniform is black and white. Most guests drop in for a drink, although there is also a small menu with soups, salads and dishes that change weekly. The gateaux are usually home-made or prepared by a confectioner.
