The Brauhaus Joh. Albrecht is a real pub, complete with barrels, beer tables, and copper kettles. It is quite cosy with an unusual ambience. The view of the Alster Canal can be described as unique, as can the two house beers: the dark Kupfer and the light Messing. This is a pleasant place in which to relax after browsing the shops and braving the bustle of the city. On their first visit, many people discover that the Brauhaus is well worth revisiting.
