The Curio house has a striking facade and a lot to offer inside. It used to be the students' cafeteria but fortunately, the beautiful building was renovated into a very versatile concert and events venue. Sports and costume balls are held frequently in the large old ballroom and on the second Friday of every month there is a popular singles party called Fisch sucht Fahrrad. The Curio house has got an excellent restaurant. Nothing remains to indicate that it was once a student cafeteria-except for the size of the room itself. The chef provides his guests with an outstanding service and sophisticated cuisine for discerning palates. There also is a nice old concert hall here decorated in burgundy with an enormous chandelier. Here, Jazz and Latin music are played in a festive ambience. Review © 2009, Wcities |
