What could be nicer than diving into the cool waters of an open-air pool on a real summer's day? The Sommerbad Duvenstedt is known to be a particularly family friendly institution, and among other attractions it offers two giant water slides, large sunbathing lawns and plenty of room for volleyball or badminton matches. And a large pool, of course. If you grow hungry, the pool kiosk sells some snacks, and if swimming doesn't suffice as a refreshment you can have an ice-cream here. But summer and Hamburg sometimes seem to be a bit of a contradiction, so keep your fingers crossed! Review © 2009, Wcities |
