This little ice-cream parlour is a great place for a daily visit if your wallet and conscience agree. It is the perfect stop after a shopping trip to busy Altona. If you are on the Ottenser Hauptstraße, this nice and quiet ice-cream oasis is reached in just a few minutes by walking from the Mercado shopping arcade. In good weather an ice-cream, espresso or milkshake can be very refreshing whilst sitting on the bench in front. The ice-cream is homemade by the owners and a single cone only costs (EUR 0.5). The parlour's interior may be a bit plain, but that doesn't mean it isn't comfortable. You can sit on the broad bench at the window with your back to the bricks - which children have decorated with those classic paper umbrellas we all used to love when we were young.
