The butterfly garden in Friedrichsruh is a real feast for the eyes. The garden has been designed with huge attention to detail and visitors can see hundreds of butterflies indigenous to northern Germany as well as exotic species from Asia, Africa and South America. There is also a pleasant café with views over the butterfly garden.
