The Friesenkeller embodies all that is good about north German restaurants-a cosy, rustic ambience and a fine selection of rich and tasty northern German specialities at reasonable prices. The dishes are presented on a somewhat unusual menu, which is made to look like a newspaper. The emphasis is on fish dishes, with plaice being a popular choice.
