The name of this restaurant (silence of the woods) at the mill pond in Aumühle can be taken literally, as you can walk right into the Sachsenwald forest from here. The traditional restaurant has a large terrace facing the pond, and lots of hunting trophies on the walls. Apart from a good meal you can also enjoy miniature golf and pedalo tours here. The Gasthaus offers local speciality cuisine. In the summer there are additional barbeque nights three times a week. The wine-list is excellent, and a cup of coffee or tea with a piece of cake is also delicious here - not just on a Sunday afternoon. Review © 2009, Wcities |
