Going Greek.... |
An der Alster 28 Hamburg, Hamburg 20099 +49 (0)40 24 4540 |
This restaurant is named after a Greek youth. The northern side of this corner building provides a wonderful view of the Alster. The little Kouros' interior is plain, but tastefully decorated. The windowsills are adorned with statues of gods, goddesses and athletic youths. The Greek at the Alster is one of the most popular Greek restaurants in Hamburg, very popular with the gay community. The menu has traditional Greek cuisine with meat and fish dishes, gnocchi and soufflés. The meals are carefully prepared by skilled hands, so the results are a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The waiter can recommend a fine suitable wine with every meal. Review © 2009, Wcities |
