An evening at Oceano is like visiting family. Screaming kids may drive their parents around the bend, but the chef can easily take it with his Mediterranean nonchalance. Football is often a topic of conversation here, as too are landlord Manolo's reminiscences of his days as a fisherman in Portugal. Nowadays he is charged with cooking the catch, which he does to perfection. The fried sardines (EUR 6.25) and monkfish in shrimp sauce (EUR 13) are firm favourites. The menu also includes some tasty lamb, pork and beef dishes for those who want a break from seafood. The generous helpings won't leave guests hungry and a glass of fig liquor rounds off the meal nicely. The restaurant contains a bar where people can also just come for a drink.
