The Orchideen-Palast (orchid palace) is a nice Chinese restaurant in Barmbek with very polite and quick service. Apart from Chinese fish and meat cuisine it also offers a choice of recommended Malaysian dishes. The orchid palaces typical Chinese interior is very tastefully decorated. There are beautiful silk paintings on the walls, and the well-maintained aquarium and goldfish pond create a pleasant atmosphere. There are little separated corners with round tables, as well as lovely wooden and glass carvings. The ceiling is nicely decorated with illuminated coloured glass. Review © 2009, Wcities |
