Isis, who gave this Egyptian restaurant in Eppendorf its name, was both Osiris' sister and wife. The facade of the half-timbered building does not exactly look very Egyptian. But inside there are cushions and if you want, you can lean back into them for a while after your meal and dream of the Nile while you enjoy a coffee or a date juice. On the menu at Isis there are a choice of Egyptian dishes with chicken or seafood plus other specialities from the Mediterranean.
