At the Katelbach you can enjoy a cup of ground coffee or a tasty snack and browse through its many magazines for hours. The fine coffee which is roasted in the basement here is also rather popular in surrounding cafes and restaurants. The crisp, faintly smoky pizza with freshly prepared toppings is excellent, as are the beautiful evening meals and the homemade biscuits at the Katelbach.

You had better go elsewhere for a romantic dinner, because space is rather limited here, despite the recently opened extra café room, and the waitresses and waiters are buzzing to and fro. Those waiting for a table are often given a complimentary drink. In summer, you can also dine outside, in front of the corner building. Apart from a fixed menu, there are daily specials and great large pizzas with a crispy base and a unique taste. The way the toppings are arranged by the pizza baker serves as a good example of true Italian passion. The pasta dishes are also recommended, and all the food is very moderately priced.
