Curslacker Deich 284 Hamburg, Hamburg 21039 +49 40 723 1223 |
The Rieck house in Curslack is also known as the Vierländer open air museum, and is a branch of the Altonaer Museum. The city of Hamburg purchased the old peasant house built around 1533 and began its thorough renovation in the early 1950s. They also worked on the historic well and barn. They have added a haystack and a drainage mill to the exhibits on their grounds. You can see historic agricultural machines and tools, as well as pieces of furniture from the late 18th and the 19th centuries. Review © 2009, Wcities |
