Located directly on the banks of the River Elbe, the Elbterrassen is wonderfully romantic and is a great place to relax and watch the ships leisurely approach and leave the harbour. Evenings are also atmospheric, as the terrace overlooks the harbour, and you can watch the dock workers hurriedly going about their business. Isn't the first beer after work that much more pleasurable when you can watch other people who are still working? Although busy, it is normally easy to find a table. Review © 2009, Wcities |
