Up in the picturesque staircase district above the Strandweg in Blankenese, Sagebiel's Fährhaus can be found. From the river Elbe you can also reach it by climbing up a long staircase. And it is definitely worth the effort. In the summer you can dine outside on the spacious terrace with its old trees. In addition to an exquisite meal, you can enjoy a fantastic view over the Elbe from here, which even Wilhelm I appreciated in his day. There are two kitchens under one roof at Sagebiel's.
