The Sala Thai in Hamburg is part of a worldwide chain of Thai restaurants. It's one of the most beautiful establishments of its kind, and is easily reached on foot from the main railway station. The interior is unique, with a goldfish pond and a little wooden bridge. There is a section with cushions and low tables for traditional Thai dining, but you can also sit upright at normal tables. There are also frequent Thai dancing shows. Among the mainly meat dishes on the menu, you can choose between grilled seafood, beef, pork, chicken and duck. Try the chicken soup with lemon grass with your main course. The way the meals are arranged on the plates is a feast for the eyes, and you just cannot beat the service. Review © 2009, Wcities |
