For almost 40 years now, Hamburg´s department of construction has offered bus tours to various neighbourhoods to see how Hamburg is being built. Knowledgeable guides provide you with interesting and valuable information on old edifices and the city´s new buildings or construction sites. One of the routes covers the neighbourhoods along the Elbe, while another one takes you to the region around the airport. Moreover, there are tours to Uhlenhorst and Eilbek, as well as to Altona, Ottensen and Blankenese. The guided tours start at 2pm on Saturday and take about 3 hours. The bus departs from Moorweide at Mittelweg.
