Every September, the KinderKinder Society (part of the Association for the Protection of Children) organises a colourful multicultural children's festival in and around the Museum of Ethnology. The event always takes place close to World Children's Day on September 20th, and incorporates a variety of attractions. Visitors can admire exhibits inside the museum and take part in activities outside, such as singing, dancing and painting. There is also a parade, a circus and children's theatre.
