The small and pretty Tafelhaus is located in the not exactly attractive neighborhood of an industrial estate, but it cannot complain about a lack of guests. Lovers of the varied, fresh cuisine on offer here still find their way to the restaurant. The light dishes, with Mediterranean and sometimes a hint of Asian flavour, are the trademark of this free, creative cuisine which is among the best in Hamburg. The Tafelhaus has a very well-arranged wine cellar with over 400 different French and German red and white wines. The 5-course dinner, which is frequently rethought at with new ingredients, is recommended for a special occasion. You'll also be able to get a good midday meal here. Review © 2009, Wcities |
