The Tassajara is one of Hamburg's most popular vegetarian restaurants. Smokers will be especially delighted to find ashtrays on the tables, while those suffering from allergies can enjoy carefully prepared whole-meal dishes from all natural ingredients. Tasteful interior and subdued music create a nice ambience, and open-air dining is also possible in good weather. There are international vegetarian dishes on the menu, ranging from a fry-up with sprouts to a lovely mixed mushroom platter, often with an Indian touch to them. The odd fish dish can also be found.
