From May until October you can also go on longer trips aboard the white ships of the Alstertourism company. A comfortable boat tour from the city centre to Bergedorf and the Vierlande starts at Jungfernstieg at 10:15a and takes approximately three hours. You will see a lot of the nice landscape along the northern part of the Elbe and the Dove-Elbe. The ship passes the fields, meadows and houses of the Vierlande before reaching Bergedorf. Unless you take the train back, the return journey starts again from here at 2p. A trip from the city-centre to Bergedorf costs EUR 15, from Bergedorf to the city-centre costs EUR 12.5.
