As well as prominent local figures, there are also numerous Japanese people among the guests - a sure sign of Wa-Yo's appeal. Located in the Nippon Hotel in one of Hamburg's most exclusive districts, the restaurant offers much, much more than your typical sushi roll. The chef rustles up a variety of traditional and modern Japanese specialities, including sukiyaki and beef hotpot, both of which are highly recommended. Decorated in typically minimalistic style, Wa-Yo is generally very busy and prices tend to lean towards the top end of the scale.
