The Tram Museum, part of the Helsinki City Museum, shows the history of public transport in Helsinki in the oldest tram depot in Helsinki. Among other things on display are a horse-drawn tramcar, uniforms and pictures. The building, dating from 1900, was designed by architect Valdemar Aspelin. Admission is free on Thursdays and on 18 May, International Museum Day. Otherwise, admission is EUR3.36 for adults, concessions EUR1.68. Admission is free for children.
