The shop is clean, comfortable, and centrally located in Waikiki's busy shopping district. Always ahead of the curve when it comes to trendsetting, the four partner owners draw from their many experiences gathered while entrenched in the surf & skate, hip hop, and rock music cultures. Anyone who notices the name of this store will likely blurt out, "But...there's no snow in Hawai'i". However, the brand is very much in existence. It caters to surfers, skateboarders, snowboarders and all the wild folk who heartily wish that there was powder fluff on the islands. Besides the Island Snow brand, this store carries Stussy, Billabong and the popular snowboarder brand, Hurley. Snowboards, watches, sunglasses and other apparel can also be found here. Popular footwear brands include Gravis and DC. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Comfortable, durable footgear |
2250 Kalakaua Avenue, Suite 211A Honolulu, HI 96815-2544 United States +1 808 924 4467 |
Your feet will thank you if you walk them over to this store. The brands sold here are known for comfort as well as style. Among the featured brands are Clark's, Footprints and the most famous of all, Birkenstocks. Styles are simple and down to earth (in more ways than one). They're suitable for any age. The store itself is smallish, but it's brightly lit and well organized, which makes it easy to browse. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Paniolo gear and garb |
1 Aloha Tower Drive, Suite 271 Honolulu, HI 96813-4837 United States +1 808 521 5552 http://www.alohatower.com/shop... |
While not as old-fashioned as the Paniolo Trading Company in Ala Moana, this Western retailer offers similar merchandise. Jeans, chaps, belts, string ties, hats and boots are just a few of the items on offer. Framed pictures of olden-time cowboys decorate the walls. Paniolos (Hawaiian cowboys) actually shop in this store, although they're usually just looking for a sturdy pair of boots or jeans. The majority of the clientele are visitors from the U.S. or Japan, striving to get the "rhinestone cowboy" look that is a popular style at many local bars. Located in the Aloha Tower Marketplace. Leather goods in Ala Moana |
1450 Ala Moana Boulevard (Ala Moana Shopping Center, Third Level) Honolulu, HI 96814 United States http://www.prada.com |
Starting with two top-quality leather-goods stores in Milan, the Prada fashion house expanded to all the major shopping areas of the world throughout the past century. In addition to the original leather focus, it now designs shoes and clothing that have the same attention to detail. You'll find a large assortment of belts, bags and accessories that are extremely functional and well-crafted. In Honolulu, the store can be found on the third level of the prestigious Ala Moana Shopping Center. It is a favorite of the upscale Waikiki crowd that dwells nearby. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Elegant, expensive, prestigious label |
1450 Ala Moana Boulevard Ala Moana Shopping Center, 2nd Level Honolulu, HI 96814 United States +1 808 973 6101 http://www.salvatoreferragamo.... |
The Ala Moana retailer of this prestigious Italian label is large, spacious and busy. The showroom is remarkable due to its long, narrow design. Looking into it is almost like looking into a wide corridor. Couches are set out in the middle of the floor, while the merchandise is displayed along the walls. Conservative, elegant shoes for men and women are on display, along with handbags, clasp wallets and silk ties. A display case of sunglasses is located in the front of the store. This place may carry Hawaii's largest selection of "slippers" (known to the rest of the world as flip-flops or thongs) and sandals. Styles for men, women and children range from inexpensive rubber pairs - many with Hawaiian print designs to the latest platform styles. The shop carries tote bags and backpacks as well. It is located on the ground floor of the Ala Moana Shopping Center near the food court. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Not what you think |
1050 Ala Moana Boulevard Honolulu, HI 96814 United States +1 808 593 8229 |
Don't get the wrong idea! The main attraction at this store is shoes, more specifically, flip-flops. Everyone from babies to grannies can shop here comfortably - and they do. The selection is fabulous, and there are other accessories for sale as well. However, the name does seem to be a deliberate play on words. No one in Hawai'i uses the word 'thong' to describe footgear. They say 'slippers', and they laugh at mainlanders who say anything else. So you thought this store sold Brazilian-style swimwear for hardbodies - well, you weren't the only one. Review © 2007, Wcities |
